Context

During the centralization of the nuclear park cold parts, the new device is quickly saturated and must be adapted to both logistical uncertainties and new requirements (Grand Carenage)

Objectives

  • Define the new design of the platform allowing for less investment, to adapt the tool and, thereby, to respond to its following mission
  • Define the transformation plan for tool adaptation (setting up, equipment, process..)

Approach

  • Data collection (rules, means, historical and projected, data transfer)
  • Load / capacity simulations and impact assessment for each equipment and analysis of opportunities
  • Re-engineering of process
  • Establishment of scenarios and choices
  • Transformation plan

Results

Encrypted transformation plan for each storage type (cost and benefit)
